How many hours does HOPE Scholarship pay for?
For the school term in which a student reaches the Attempted or Paid Hours Limitof 127 semester hours, the student can be paid ONLY for the hours up to the 127 Hour Limit.
How many credit hours does hope cover per semester?
There is no minimum number of hours required to receive the HOPE Scholarship at Georgia College since we are a public university but you are limited to receiving a maximum of 15 hours per semester.

HOPE Scholarship recipients must maintain a 3.00 HOPE GPA. Zell Miller Scholarship Recipients must maintain a 3.30 Zell Miller Scholarship GPA. If you are otherwise eligible, you can continue to receive the scholarship through 127 HOPE Attempted or Paid hours, whichever comes first.
Can you get HOPE Scholarship in college?
A student who was not academically eligible for the HOPE Scholarship as an entering college freshman may become eligible for the HOPE Scholarship after attempting 30, 60, or 90 semester hours or 45, 90, or 135 quarter hours of study with a minimum 3.0 cumulative postsecondary grade point average.
